Debt Rebellion

Why don’t we just bankrupt the banks?

Seriously. The government gave the banks gazillions of dollars of our money to save them from themselves. It was their lax credit rules that created the whole mess. If they had not loaned money to people who couldn’t prove income or a reliable credit history, then there wouldn’t be so many foreclosures.

Let’s take matters into our own hands!

From this moment on, we should do everything in our power to bankrupt them all.

Here’s how:

  1. Accept every credit card offer then max them out with cash advances.  Save the cash.
  2. Stop paying all your credit cards immediately.
  3. Pay only your car and mortgage loans (if you want to).
  4. Close all your accounts with large mega-banks and move it all to small local banks.  Or keep it all as cash.
  5. Pay cash. Negotiate with everyone for at least a 5% discount when you do. They’ll pay about that much in credit card fees anyway.

Any economists that might happen to read this, I’d love to hear your thoughts…

I say to hell with the big banks. The top bankers have grown enormously rich in bonuses on the backs of millions of unsuspecting (and some real dummies too) Americans.  Impossible to understand contracts, debt pyramids that drive us into recession and irresponsible profiteering have caused this mess.

It’s time we start hitting them back.  If enough people do this, it will bankrupt them.

Sure, many more will lose homes, cars, valuables. So what? Every fight requires sacrifice.

Let’s bankrupt the banks! I hereby declare the beginning of the Debt Rebellion!

Who’s with me?

Yeah, I stole the idea to move your money out of the big banks and into community banks. Personally, I keep my cash buried in the forest under a big rock.
